The Potential Impact of Digital Technologies on Poverty Reduction in the Case of Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, strategies and programs have been developed to reduce poverty, the purpose of which is to improve the living standards and quality of the population in the regions. Uzbekistan has also adopted legal documents on the use of digital technologies to reduce poverty. The cross-sectional research design was chosen to carry out this research. The research approach is quantitative, and the data collection methods were secondary and primary. It was used for statistical analyses: The Chi-Square goodness of fit test, the Chi-Square test of independence, and the Mann-Whitney U test, and they were developed in SPSS 29.0.1 statistical software. The results showed that digital technologies have a positive impact on poverty reduction. At the end of the research, a model was proposed for increasing the impact of digital technologies on poverty reduction.
