This article provides an overview of the development, characteristics and application of Big Data technologies, and also discusses, analyzes what Big Data is, its implementation in the military sphere, the current state of affairs, possible solutions to problems, limitations that prevent it from being done effectively also provides an overview three modern approaches to working with big data: NoSQL, MapReduce and processing of streams of events in real-time and development prospects.
