The article deals with the development of the street and road network (SRN) in Tashkent to assess pedestrian accessibility. The data on the change of city streets and highways in time are given. The transport network of the city is also assessed, achievements and problems are outlined, tasks for transport provision of the needs of the city's population are listed, the draft transport concept is analyzed on the organization of walking and cycling.
