Аннотация

The paper deals with development of multidimensional model of gas filtration in porous media and numerical algorithm for solving the initial-boundary value problem. The model consists of nonlinear differential equation in partial derivatives with the appropriate initial and boundary conditions. The model makes it possible to evaluate impact of main factors affecting the filtration process such as permeability, porosity, thickness of layers, gas recovery coefficient, viscosity etc. That gives us opportunity to solve practical problems of forecasting the process of gas production as well as making decisions on exploitation of gas deposits.
