Hard Superconductivity: Theory of the Motion of Abrikosov Flux Lines

The basic ideas of flux-creep theory (i.e., theory of motion of quantized flux lines) for hard superconductors are reviewed and evaluated. The qualitative predictions of this theory are compared with experimentally observed phenomena. (T.F.H.)
