The article discusses the issues of prompt decision-making and elimination of problems in ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures during operation using computer technologies that meet the requirements of the time. Particular attention is paid to qualified personnel in ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures, achievements in the use of computer technology. The main criteria for the causes of accidents and malfunctions made by unskilled operators during operation are given.
