Valuable economic traits of F3 hybrids of medium-fiber cotton
Аннотация
Abstract Today, a cluster system has been established in Uzbek cotton industry for the cultivation of agricultural crops. This cluster system includes the processes from sowing the seeds to harvesting, processing, obtaining and selling the finished product. Today, there is a growing demand for varieties with high fiber yield and length, as well as other quality indicators of fiber. In this regard, this research focused on creating raw materials with high fiber consumption and quality. In this research, the results of several years of researches on F2 hybrids, which obtained on the basis of parental forms with high fiber yield and length selected from 12 F3 hybrid families, were analyzed and studied. Besides, Namangan-77 cotton variety was selected as a standard variety. The research results showed that the standard for fiber yield was observed in Namangan-77 cotton variety 35.1%, in the remaining 10 hybrids, except for hybrids 5 and 12, from 36.0% to 42.2%, and the highest rate was F3 CP-2532 x Jarkurgon hybrid. 42.2% in the family, which is 7.1% higher than the standard navigation. In terms of fiber length, the standard variety was 35.0 mm, while all other 12 hybrid families had fiber lengths ranging from 35.3 mm to 37.2 mm, 0.4 mm to 2.5 mm longer than the standard variety, and these hybrids were used as donors.
