Аннотация
The interaction of dissolved substances with polar groups of a hydrophilic polymer is analyzed. The effect of the size and hydration energy of cations of the elements of the first and second groups of the Periodic Table, as well as halide anions on the structure of the polymer matrix and the composition of the polymer gel was studied. Quantitative estimates of the effects of the concentration of the external solution on volume and composition of polyvinyl alcohol gels were carried out.
