Application geoinformational technologies in hydrogeological research
Аннотация
Currently, there is a steady growth in the needs of all spheres of the country's economy for unified spatial information. The importance of modernity, reliability and accuracy of geological, ie, spatial data, is growing exponentially, which places high demands on their timely updating in operational terms up to updating in a mode close to real time. Analysis of works using methods and geoinformation technologies of mapping showed that digital topographic maps do not fully meet the requirements of geoinformation cartographic framework when used in GIS, which is explained by the following factors: a complex system of classification and coding of map objects; - duplication of qualitative and quantitative characteristics in the signatures of objects on the map; the presence of design objects in the content of maps; lack of summaries between nomenclature sheets of digital topographic maps; incompatibility of formats and software versions used in the process of updating maps. To solve this problem, it is necessary to provide for the development of a unified geoinformation cartographic support, which includes classifiers of geospatial information, rules for digital description of spatial information, digital libraries of conventional symbols.
