The Dirichlet problem for an elliptic singular equation

Second-order singular elliptic equations of the form ∑i=1n∂2u∂xi2+γixi∂u∂xi=b2u are considered. For a b>0 we find an analytical solution to the Dirichlet problem for this equation. A procedure for obtaining its solution is proposed based on the using of a modified Bessel function of the second kind.
