Аннотация

The use of innovative technologies in higher education has allowed to transform the educational process. These trends require comprehensive consideration and comprehensive analysis. The goal is to identify the disadvantages and advantages of using digital technologies in the educational process. The methodology of the conducted research is a desk analysis of written studies on the topic of “digitalization of education”, as well as methods of comparative analysis and interpretation of law. According to the study results, the advantages and disadvantages of digital communication technologies application in educational activities of universities are highlighted. The advantages include: the possibility of gaining knowledge anywhere in the world; increase in the training retention factor; availability of video materials at any time; transparency of assessments; the possibility to retake tests, control tasks; mastering modern technologies; individual learning pace; minimization of costs; increase in self-motivation.
