Morgan, W. W. ; Code, A. D. ; Whitford, A. E. Abstract Two-dimensional spectral classification on the MK system is given for 1270 stars of early type. The catalogue includes 118 southern stars classified from spectrograms obtained at the Radcliffe Observatory. Photoelectric colors are listed for 71 per cent of the stars; of these colors, 386 are of stars not previously measured. The new colors include those of 102 southern stars obtained at the Radcliffe and Cape Observatories.
