Analysis of the routing methods and Internet models for IoT

Аннотация

In this paper, we analyze different routing protocols based on TCP/IP model and using NS-3 simulation environment made a comparison, based on the performance metrics like packet delivery ratio, throughput in different kind of network conditions: different number of static and mobile nodes, and different power. By analyzing issues of protocols, we found out that problems are the same and they are because of the model TCP/IP, which was not developed for the Internet in today and for Internet of things. As a solution for this problem, we propose to use NDN model and show its advantages in Internet of things.
