Аннотация

It is shown that local mechanical bending of YBa2Cu3O7−b Ag-coated superconducting films deposited on flexible metal substrates in the temperature interval 77–300 K may increase the critical density J c of the transport current to values as high as 106 A/cm2 or even higher at 77 K. Also, bending decreases the voltage criterion. This means a rise in the intergranular conductivity and, accordingly, a reduction of Joule losses.
