Ferrocenoyl-substituted Cinchona alkaloids were synthesized from ferrocenecarboxylic acid and the free Cinchona alkaloids and represent readily available organometallic auxiliaries. They were employed as a rare example of chiral ferrocenyl ligands in asymmetric oxidation chemistry.
