Аннотация

The specificities of error detection by polynomial codes in data vectors compared to commonly-used modular codes with summation of unit data bits were analyzed. The authors of the article established the key features of error detection by polynomial codes, the account of which is advisable when building the systems with fault detection. The advantages and disadvantages of using polynomial codes were shown in experiments for technical implementation complexity of concurrent error detection systems and detection ability of the latter.
