ISSUES OF INCREASING THE ROLE OF INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD OF JOINT-STOCK COMPANIES

The article analyzes the activities of the supervisory boards of joint-stock companies, the need to increase the role of independent directors in order to ensure the transparency of the activities of the supervisory board, the institution of independent directors, the issues of formation, organizing the association of independent members of the supervisory boards of Uzbekistan and its regulation, protecting the rights and interests of independent members of the supervisory boards in state bodies and other organizations, the formation of a community of highly qualified and professional independent directors in the country and the improvement of the national system and practice of corporate governance.
