The calculation of the probability of failure-free communication based on the law of the probability distribution of the meteorological visibility range, the data obtained as a result of statistical analysis of the ITM Meteoinfo system in Tashkent are given. The expediency of using atmospheric optical transmission systems (AOTS) in the backbone core cellular networks is shown, and when backing up with a parallel radio line operating in the millimeter wave range, practically any backbone communication channels.
