Leveraging Technology for Sustainable Tourism Development: An Empirical Analysis of Uzbekistan

The tourism industry is vital to a country's economic growth and cultural preservation, and it has become more important than ever to integrate technology. This research paper deals with the relationship between tourism and technology with special reference to Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is very much known for its historical sites and rich cultural legacy. Empirical analysis has been used to examine the impact and effects of technology used on a range of tourism-related factors in Uzbekistan like Tourists' satisfaction, revisit intention and recommending the destination to others. Such factors eventually help in destination management and sustainable development. Structured Survey, interviews and statistical analysis were used to collect data to provide insights for technology-driven tourism in Uzbekistan at present and in near future. The findings of the research study will help both academia and industry by providing policymakers, tourists' stakeholders and technology developers so that they can improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan.
