By the use of Ginzburg-Landau equations, which include the effect arising from the sinusoidal variation of the impurity concentration in one direction, the stability of variety of the vortex lattice configuration in the type II superconductors is studied. In the vicinity of the upper critical field Hc2, the critical current is determined as a function of the external field, which is compared with a recent experiment by Raffy et al. The present theory describes semi-quantitatively the observed field dependence of the critical current.
