The antiferromagnetic resonance in CuCl22H2O and LiCuCl32H2O were investigated experimentally using centimeter and millimeter microwaves at liquid helium temperature. Detailed study of a single crystal of CuCl22H2O shows a small deviation from the Nagamiya—Yosida theory and is explained by introducing an anisotropic exchange interaction. Similar results are presented for CoCl26H2O. Hysteresis of spin flopping at Hc was observed and a possible mechanism is discussed. Main feature of the antiferromagnetic resonance LiCuCl32H2O can be explained by the present theory as well as in CuCl22H2O.
