Аннотация

Abstract\nWe extend our recently advanced model on collisional energy loss of heavy quarks in a quark gluon plasma (QGP) by including radiative energy loss. We discuss the approach and present first preliminary results, including a comparison of the role of both types of energy loss for experimental data. We draw the conclusion that the present nuclear modification factor R AA data on non-photonic single electrons does not permit to " select " between this two types of energy-loss mechanisms.
