Studies of water flow parameters in the water supply pipeline of wide-reach sprinklers
Аннотация
Optimization of the design of the water supply pipeline of wide-span sprinklers and the parameters of the water flow in it can significantly reduce the metal consumption and cost of the entire machine, save water and electricity. The purpose of the research is to develop a scientifically based method of hydraulic calculation of the water supply pipeline of wide-span sprinklers, which allows to select its design parameters and optimize the location of sprinklers. Theoretical studies of the parameters of the water flow with a flow rate varying along the length of the pipelin e allo wed us to obtain dependencies describing such characteristics as pressure losses, flow changes along the pipeline taking into account the discreteness, i.e. the number of taps for installing sprinklers per unit length. Comparison of the results of theoretical and experimental studies gives a good match and confirms the reliability of the obtained dependencies. W it h the help of the presented method of hydraulic calculation of the water supply pipeline, the water supply pipeline of the Kuban-LK1M sprinkler machines (CASCADE) and CASCADE was optimized and introduced into production (Saratov, LLC “Reclamation Machines”).
