This article demonstrates the charging of electric vehicle system with the support of DC-DC converter and DC motor. The charging of electric vehicle is one of the issues which has been addressed in the article. The poor state of charge and improper voltage profile are the few challenges with the charging system. The proposed system consists of DC-DC converter between DC voltage source and DC motor and switching and controlling of DC-DC converter has been fuzzy logic controller and vector control. It is observed that least voltage deviation and improved SOC has been attained with FLC in comparison to vector control under the half and full load condition.
