Аннотация

This paper looks at how machine learning & AI could be used in Uzbekistan in enhancing the hospitality industry through smart tourism technology. To examine the factors that may affect the uptake of these technologies, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is used. The study identifies primary issues, including technology support, privacy issues and challenges, and high costs, as fundamental barriers that need to be solved to optimise smart tourism. The study also examines the employments in the Uzbekistan hotel industry resulting in pressure to reskill and transition into technology-based positions. In addition, it defines the concrete market segments and the specific calls for using AI technology to enhance the view of foreign tourists. The implications of the findings for stakeholders lay in the ability to inform policies and investments that might help to foster more sustainable relationships between growth, customers, and resources in Uzbekistan's tourism economy. Solutions are suggested to fill the gaps found in smart tourism adoption and its implementation.
