Implementation of Intelligent CPS for Integrating the Industry and Manufacturing Process

Industry 4.0, which uses new, cutting-edge technology, has far-reaching effects on all production areas since it symbolizes the digitalization of manufacturing. The manufacturing sector is under growing pressure to become more adaptable to meet the market's more modular, individualized, and rapidly changing needs. With cyber-physical networks, the Internet of Things, and cutting-edge digital technology, “smart factories” are one of Industry 4.0's central ideas, representing a manufacturing/production system with linked processes and activities. An innovative, intelligent factory architecture for Industry 4.0 is outlined in this study, together with the essential industrial, computer, information, and communication technologies that make up a smart factory. It explains how to build an intelligent production system by integrating a smart factory's various elements (pillars). This chapter presents an improved, innovative factory model by implementing an intelligent production case study, including a drilling process. It demonstrates and verifies experimentally the practicality of the presented technique.
