Аннотация

The interplay between sport and psychology has evolved into a critical area of study, influencing athletic performance, mental health, and overall well-being. This theoretical review synthesizes existing literature on the psychological dimensions of sport, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral interconnections. Employing a narrative synthesis approach, the review examines key theories such as cognitive appraisal, self-determination, and emotional regulation, highlighting their applications in sport contexts. Results indicate that psychological factors like motivation, anxiety management, and mental toughness significantly enhance athletic outcomes, while negative states such as burnout and stress can impair performance. The discussion explores implications for athletes, coaches, and practitioners, emphasizing the need for integrated psychological training. This review provides a foundational framework for future empirical research in sport psychology, underscoring the symbiotic relationship between physical activity and mental processes.
