THE COMBINED EFFECT OF HYPOKINESIA AND FATTY NUTRITION FACTORS ON THE HISTOSTRUCTURE OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE GLAND

This article highlights the effects of hypokinesia (physical inactivity) combined with a high-fat diet on the histostructure and morphofunctional state of the pancreas. The analysis revealed that hypokinesia with fatty nutrition leads to fatty degeneration in the parenchyma, fibrotic processes in the stroma, a decrease in zymogen granules in acinar cells, and atrophy of the islet cells in the endocrine part. These changes reduce the secretory activity of the pancreas and cause a disruption of the overall metabolic balance.
