Аннотация

To evaluate the effectiveness of conservative treatment of adhesive disease in children and to develop a unified patient management algorithm. Materials and Methods. The study was conducted at the Fergana branch of the Republican Research Center of Emergency Medicine and a multidisciplinary clinic. A total of 231 children aged from 7 months to 18 years with adhesive disease were included. All patients underwent comprehensive examination, including clinical assessment, plain abdominal radiography, ultrasound examination, and, when indicated, contrast radiography with barium passage and computed tomography. Results. Conservative treatment consisted of gastrointestinal decompression, anti-inflammatory hormonal therapy, and correction of fluid and electrolyte imbalance. Most patients demonstrated clinical improvement, including reduction of abdominal pain, resolution of vomiting and abdominal distension, and normalization of laboratory parameters. A positive outcome of conservative management was achieved in 57.6% of cases. Conclusion. Early initiation of conservative therapy helps prevent acute adhesive intestinal obstruction and reduces the need for surgical intervention in pediatric patients.
