Аннотация

Energy storage is essential for power system safety, financial stability, and flexibility. Solar energy research and development are crucial in India, a developing nation with a fuel shortage. For a photovoltaic power system, the optimization of power point tracking is necessary to produce maximum output power in a PV array under different environmental conditions. Optimal photovoltaic system performance requires an appropriate Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method and good weather. In this paper, an MPPT controller utilizing the fuzzy logic method has been designed and simulated using the MATLAB Simulink model. The efficiency and duty cycle (DC) have been measured for a fuzzy-based MPPT controller for different values of irradiance. This system is particularly well-suited for Internet of Things (IoT) wireless sensor nodes situated outdoors, as it can be deployed using low-power equipment. A maximum efficiency of 98% has been noted at an irradiance value of 1000 Watts per square meter. As the irradiance value decreases, the efficiency of the MPPT controller also decreases.
