POSTPOSITIONS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE: LINGUISTIC DESCRIPTION AND FORMAL MODELING FOR A SYNTACTIC ANALYZER

In this article, the system of postpositions in the Uzbek language is analyzed from a linguistic point of view, and the issue of their formal modeling for a syntactic analyzer is considered. In the research, postpositions are classified as pure and functional postpositions, and their morphological features, syntactic functions, and role in expressing semantic relations are described. The place of postpositional constructions in sentence structure is determined, and the theoretical foundations of interpreting them as a single syntactic unit are presented. Also, based on the NP + POSTP → PP model, it is scientifically substantiated that formal representation of postpositional phrases simplifies the identification of syntactic relations and enables automatic detection of semantic roles. The results of the research serve as a theoretical and practical basis for the formal marking of postpositions in the process of creating a syntactic analyzer in the Uzbek language.
