Аннотация

This study investigates the integration of creative educational technologies into applied arts education, with particular focus on Uzbekistan's traditional craft schools and institutions. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining systematic literature review, secondary data analysis, and comparative assessment to examine the effectiveness of technology-enhanced teaching methodologies in preserving and advancing traditional artistic practices. Findings indicate that project-based learning approaches demonstrate significant improvements in student engagement and creative outcomes, with meta-analyses revealing effect sizes ranging from 0.52 to 0.68. The study finds that 63.8% of students engaged in arts education demonstrate higher academic performance than 43.7% of non-arts students. Furthermore, the integration of digital technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence has shown promising results in enhancing spatial understanding, fostering creative thinking, and bridging digital content with physical artistic traditions. The analysis reveals unique challenges and opportunities specific to Uzbekistan's applied arts education system, including preserving centuries-old master-apprentice traditions while integrating modern pedagogical approaches. Recommendations are provided for educational institutions, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to optimise teaching effectiveness in applied arts education while maintaining cultural authenticity.
