THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS AND IMPORTANCE OF CREATIVE ASSESSMENT
Аннотация
Creative assessment has become a critical component of modern education, emphasizing learners’ critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and creativity rather than simple memorization. Traditional assessment methods, often focused on standardized testing, fail to capture the multifaceted competencies required in 21st-century education. This article explores the theoretical foundations of creative assessment, including constructivist theory, cognitive development theory, and Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. Through qualitative analysis of scholarly literature, case studies, and classroom practices, the study demonstrates that creative assessment enhances student engagement, promotes deeper learning, and develops transferable skills necessary for real-world challenges. Additionally, it encourages autonomy, reflective thinking, and collaboration among learners. The findings underscore the importance of integrating creative assessment strategies into curriculum design to foster innovation, motivation, and authentic learning experiences.
