Аннотация

Speech therapist deontology is a system of adherence to ethical standards in speech therapy. It teaches the speech therapist: to treat the patient with respect; to maintain confidentiality (not to disclose information about speech defects, diagnosis); to be honest in word and deed; to not harm the patient. Deontology teaches the speech therapist: to communicate politely, courteously, and empathetically with the patient (child or adult), parents, and colleagues; to take into account the feelings of each child; to create a trusting, positive psychological environment.
