Аннотация

The 1982 Constitution of the Republic of Turkey is based on the principles of a democratic, secular and legal state, and after the 2017 referendum, it transitioned to a presidential system. It guarantees freedoms and rights, but imposes restrictions on the security and unity of the state. Although religion and state affairs are separated (the principle of secularism), they occupy an important place in Islamic society. The structure of state power - the separation of legislative, executive, and judicial branches - is similar to the state system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
