Аннотация

Motivation is widely recognized as one of the most decisive factors influencing success in foreign language acquisition. In the context of contemporary English language education, traditional teacher-centered instruction often fails to sustain learners’ intrinsic motivation. This article explores innovative pedagogical approaches aimed at enhancing language-learning motivation among English learners. Drawing upon self-determination theory, communicative language teaching, gamification, digital pedagogy, and project-based learning, the study analyzes how student-centered and technology-enhanced strategies contribute to increased engagement and academic achievement. The research employs qualitative analysis of theoretical sources and comparative evaluation of traditional and innovative teaching practices. The findings suggest that interactive, autonomy-supportive, and contextually meaningful instructional methods significantly improve learners’ motivation, self-efficacy, and communicative competence. The study concludes that integrating innovative motivational strategies into English language teaching fosters sustainable learning outcomes and lifelong language-learning attitudes.
