Аннотация
This study investigates the activity of lysyl oxidase family enzymes (LOX-1–4) in experimental interstitial pneumonia. All LOX isoforms demonstrated a marked increase—more than 2.7-fold—in serum and lung homogenates compared with intact animals, indicating enhanced fibrotic and tissue-remodeling processes. LOX-3 showed the highest baseline activity. These findings confirm the pivotal role of LOX enzymes in the pathogenesis of interstitial lung injury and support the potential use of LOX-1–4 as biomarkers for assessing fibrosis severity and progression.
