Аннотация

This article examines the role of the United Nations and UNICEF in ensuring and promoting children’s rights at the global level. The study analyzes the normative and institutional frameworks established by the United Nations, with particular emphasis on the Convention on the Rights of the Child as the primary international legal instrument safeguarding children’s rights. Furthermore, the article explores the operational activities of UNICEF in implementing child protection policies through education, healthcare, and social welfare programs. Special attention is given to the mechanisms of monitoring, international cooperation, and humanitarian assistance provided in emergency situations. The research highlights the complementary relationship between the United Nations and UNICEF, where policy formulation and practical implementation are closely interconnected. The findings suggest that despite significant progress, ongoing global challenges require sustained international collaboration to ensure the full realization of children’s rights worldwide.
