Аннотация

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) dynamics is a complex physiological process that includes the production, circulation, and absorption of cerebrospinal fluid, ensuring the homeostasis of the central nervous system. Disturbances in CSF dynamics underlie a number of pathological conditions, such as hydrocephalus, intracranial hypertension, and CSF flow obstructions, which determines the relevance of this study. The aim of this research is to systematize modern concepts of the mechanisms of CSF dynamics, as well as to analyze pathophysiological changes in various diseases. The study employs methods of data analysis and synthesis based on the review of fundamental textbooks and scientific publications on normal anatomy, physiology, and pathological anatomy of the central nervous system. The results of the study showed that a key role in maintaining CSF balance is played by the choroid plexuses of the brain ventricles, subarachnoid spaces, and arachnoid granulations. It was found that even minor disturbances in the system of CSF production or outflow lead to significant clinical consequences. Thus, CSF dynamics is a crucial component of central nervous system functioning, and its disturbances require timely diagnosis and pathogenetically justified treatment. The obtained data can be used in clinical practice and in further studies of neurological diseases.
