THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly influenced modern education, including the field of English language teaching. Digital tools provide new opportunities for improving the effectiveness of language learning by creating interactive and engaging learning environments. This article examines the role of digital technologies in teaching English and their impact on students’ language skills development. The study highlights the use of online learning platforms, multimedia resources, mobile applications, and virtual classrooms in language education. It also discusses the advantages and challenges associated with the integration of technology in English language teaching. The findings demonstrate that digital technologies enhance students’ motivation, improve access to authentic materials, and support independent learning.
