The authors show the role of the electron-rotation coupling for the photodissociation dynamics of ${}^{3}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}$ - ${}^{3}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Pi}}$ transitions, triggered by both resonant and detuned intense pulses.
