Аннотация

The main objective of this paper is to introduce a methodology for security risk assessment-based migration of critical Smart grid functional technology services to the cloud, either on- or off-premise. By security zone, a baseline system architectural diagram for smart grid control systems manufacturing (CSM) was developed. Threats to cloud security could come from incorrectly configured cloud storage, unprotected APIs, data loss, breaches and leaks, and access control. Numerous research groups and earlier publications have extensively examined the security issues connected with cloud computing. Evaluate our methodology on two migrations to the cloud case studies, namely a big distribution network operator (DNO) with a complicated functional technology (FT) environment; and a small DNO that lacks FT capabilities, money, and IT staff. Our method will be an invaluable resource for any owner or operator of a smart grid system since there are no risk assessment-based studies that address the issue of transferring smart grid FT services to a cloud computing architecture methodically.
