Аннотация
The temperature dependence of the ratio of the plastic deformation rates in the S and N states, ϵ′s/ϵ′n, has been studied in lead single crystals in the temperature range 1.5–7.2°K. This dependence has been experimentally shown to be of a different character for various degress of deformation. The experimental data are compared with the deductions which softening theory bases on dynamic dislocation drag by conduction electrons and also with quasistatic models of softening during the N–S transition.
