Аннотация

The thermal conductivity coefficients of krypton and xenon are studied by the heated filament method. Measurements were performed over the range 120−300°K (Kr) and 180−330°K (Xe), at densities of 0.344−2.424 g/cm3 (Kr) and 0.200−2.845 g/cm3 (Xe), and pressures of 1−2730 atm (Kr) and 1−1380 atm (Xe). The results obtained are analyzed, compared with the data of other authors, with calculations using the theories of Eyring, Enskog, and Prigogine, and with values calculated by the molecular dynamics method. The thermal conductivities of krypton, xenon, argon, and nitrogen are described with the aid of the law of corresponding states, which is also used to calculate the thermal conductivities of neon and radon along the saturation line and at constant density.
