Damping of a pulse NMR spin echo signal is computed for impurity diffusion along dislocations (one-dimensional diffusion) in quantum crystals, or over intercrystalline boundaries (two-dimensional diffusion). It is shown that for an arbitrary arrangement of dislocations and boundaries in the crystal, the echo signal damping as a function of the magnetic field gradient and the time between high-frequency pulses is not an exponential function that is characteristic for three-dimensional diffusion. Expressions are obtained for echo-signal amplitude damping for one-dimensional restricted diffusion.
