Equations of elasticity and the characteristics of absorption and dispersion of sound in anisotropic superconductors
Аннотация
A complete system of equations, taking into account macroscopic electromagnetic fields and the phase of the order parameter, that describes the dynamics of elastic deformations of an anisotropic crystal lattice of a superconducting metal with an arbitrary dispersion law for charge carriers and a deformation potential is derived. A scheme is formulated for solving the equations of electrodynamics of a deformed superconductor, which permits expressing in general form the coefficient of absorption and dispersion of acoustic waves in terms of the linear response coefficients and generalized dielectric susceptibility of the superconductor. The temperature and frequency dependences of the absorption and dispersion in a clean (q ℓ ≫1) anisotropic superconductor with arbitrary polarization and direction of propagation of acoustic waves are analyzed in the quasiclassicallimit of slowly varying fields.
