Аннотация
It is shown that a slab with a twin can have an N-shaped current–voltage characteristic and can have current and voltage oscillations excited in it with a frequency of 109−1010 sec−1. The deHaas–van Alphen effect is found to have specific features that significantly facilitate its experimental observation. “Grazing” electrons are shown to be almost totally reflected from the twin boundary and in the general case the scattering is a two-channel process.
