Theory of magnetic susceptibility of bismuth and its alloys with antimony

The magnetic susceptibility of bismuth and its alloys with antimony in weak magnetic fields is calculated on the basis of a model which describes the energy spectrum with an accuracy falling between the McClure and McClure–Choi (or Dorofeev–Fal’kovskiĭ) models. The results of the calculations are compared with the available experimental data.
