Description of deformed excited 0/sup +/ states of /sup 16/O and /sup 40/Ca nuclei in the framework of the Hartree-Fock method

The Hartree-Fock method with inclusion of deformation and of projection on states with definite total angular momentum is used to study the first 0/sup +/ excited states of /sup 16/O and /sup 40/Ca on the assumption that they are of an ..cap alpha..-particle nature.
