Аннотация

The splitting of the luminescence lines of an impurity inert atom corresponds to nonequilibrium metastable variants of local restructuring of the lattice, subjected to strong pressure from the outer s-cloud of the excited atom. The dynamic splitting of the absorption line of impurity alkali atoms can be observed only if the interaction with the fully symmetric vibration of the lattice is weak. It is shown that this interaction is substantially weakened by the competition with the covalent bond.
